Communiqué Productions Inc. has been in business since 1985 and has been developing and managing information management systems since 1993.
EyeMed, formerly LensCrafters Vision Care Management Systems: A comprehensive insurance benefit information management system was recommended in conjunction with a retail associate training program to assist in processing insurance benefit customers. Communiqué designed, developed, implemented and managed the system for a number of years. Starting with 40 plans and 400 locations, by the time LensCrafters took the database management function in-house, there were more than 3500 plans and more than 1700 locations (including retail stores and doctors of optometry associated and not associated with the retail stores), including Canada and Puerto Rico.
Vast improvements were realized in waiting on insurance customers, and LensCrafters enjoyed increased revenues as a result of the enhanced confidence and competence associated with enhanced skill and access to easy-to-understand information. Associates were able to immediately determine whether or not a plan was accepted in their location, what the benefit amounts were, what the discount or write-off was, and the amount to be paid by the customer or patient. Even instructions for processing the sales were provided as part of the information management system.

Training Tracking Information Management Systems: Communiqué’s easy-to-use and non-proprietary training tracking information management system enables training scheduling, monitoring and managing career track training requirements, email notifications of refresher training requirements, annual licensure and certification requirements, CEUs and contact hours tracking and even reporting that surfaces trends regarding management support or non-support of required training for appropriate intervention to maintain compliance. Sensitive employee information is maintained by the system and strict adherence to confidentiality contract clauses are maintained and ensured. All procedures performed by Communiqué Productions are open for audit by designated client representatives.
